Name: Jana Brunier
Business: Keep Active Osteopathy
How long have you been in business for?
This is my eighth year in business. I have been working for myself for two years now, and prior to that I worked for another oseto clinic for five years.
Are you born and raised in Shepparton?
I grew up in Shepparton and did all my primary and secondary schooling here. I moved away to study and when I was finished I came back and started working.
What made you want to be an osteopath?
I always had an interest in sport and so I always wanted to work as something in the allied health field. Originally I wanted to be a physio but after visiting an oseto for a sore back I decided it was better and that's what set me into studying oseto.
What do you love most about Shepparton?
I have lots of family and really good friends here. I really like the local community. I didn't even consider not moving back after university, I knew I had a really good life here so I decided to stay and open my business.
Any future plans for your business?
We hope to keep getting Keep Active busier and expanding to meet all of our patients needs through osteopathy and the services we provide in the gym. At the moment we are happy consolidating our business structure and once we've got a good product we may eventually consider expanding our current premises.
