Learning vital skills for road rescue

by
August 01, 2017

Over the weekend members from VICSES Tatura, Seymour, Yarrawonga, Rutherglen and Benalla came together to facilitate the second weekend of a two weekend road rescue course at the Shepparton Search and Rescue headquarters.

Nine members from SSARS and two members from VICSES (Numurkah and Seymour) honed their skills on the Saturday and with a bit more practice on the Sunday morning successfully completed their assessment.

Road rescue skills are a vital part of both VICSES and SSARS emergency response with both agencies maintaining a professional skill level.

It's a fantastic way to pass on and share knowledge and experience.
