Softball Victoria is running a Community Level 1 Coaching Course in Shepparton on Tuesday September 12.
Softball has evolved and is now offering several formats of the game.
- Social 7’s is a fun, one hour, pay as you play version of the sport. Competitions run for six weeks and only requires seven players per team. Rules are easy to learn and we require one person who is trained in the rules to oversee the games.
- Batters Up is for 3 to 11-year-olds and is a great introduction for young boys and girls. Lots of hand eye coordination games provided in a fun environment.
- Sporting Schools lots of schools in the area are looking to run softball programs through the sporting schools program. We are looking for interested coaches to run a combination of Batters Up and T-Ball at the schools.
To help train individuals on the various aspects of the sport and to gain accreditations to run the Sporting Schools and Batters Up program, Softball Victoria will be running a Community Level 1 Coaching course.
Anybody interested in running softball programs will be paid for their time and ongoing support from Softball Victoria will be provided.
This is a great way for teachers, university students, stay at home parents looking for extra income or those interested in gaining some softball knowledge to become accredited.
The course will be held at Goulburn Valley Grammar School, 455 Verney Road, Shepparton.
Date: September 12, 10am to 1pm.
Cost: $80.00 inc GST
