The Main Course Butchery perfect for busy people

August 21, 2017

The Main Course Butchery owner, Luke Dixon.

Moama local, Luke Dixon recently moved The Main Course Butchery from Echuca to Shepparton; offering locals a wide selection of interesting and delicious meal options.

Mr Dixon prides himself on doing things a little different from your average butchers, and giving people options for dinner they may not have have thought of.

The Main Course Butchery even has an on-site chef that prepares everything from scratch. This includes their hot food range and cold take home meals.

"We want to inspire and help out time poor people with a range of meal options."

Each day, the bain-marie is filled with different meals, perfect for a quick, satisfying take away lunch or dinner.

Mr Dixon let us know that their range will continue to change, especially as the summer months roll in. This means more barbecue options and the introduction of a salad bar. People can also expect changes to their meat varieties as they adapt to their customers and learn what works well.

Another thing that sets this butchers apart, is their dry aged steaks. The Main Course Butchery is the only place in town to grab a perfectly aged steak with intense flavour and tenderness.

"These are perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves at home. They are better than a restaurant steak!"

The Main Course Butchery is open 7 days and located inside Riverside Plaza, 8025 Goulburn Valley Highway, Kialla.

The opening hours are 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday. To keep up to date with Luke and the team, check out their Facebook page
