Over two years ago, local woman Katrina Mills realised there was gap in the market of educational toys in our community.
Having to look online or travel to Melbourne for her own children’s needs, she decided to take action and opened Dotz for Kids with her mother, Judy Beckingham.
“I had young kids myself and wanted to give them quality, educational toys,” said Katrina.
Since opening their doors, Katrina and Judy have stocked a huge range of toys, including scooters, puzzles, playsets, soft toys and hanging chairs for kids.
Learning as they go, the pair now stocks a range of sensory toys for special needs children.
“It’s been interesting learning about the different products available and great to see returning customers,” said Katrina.
The mother-daughter duo is currently buckling down for their busiest time of the year, as Christmas approaches.
Katrina and Judy are happy to help from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1pm on Saturday.
To check out their range, visit Dotz for Kids at 60 Fryers St, Shepparton VIC 3630.
